Acceptance of Terms

Accessing fireman.dev constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service. The site owner may revise these terms at any time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was published.

Purpose of the Site

fireman.dev is a personal portfolio, professional identity hub, and content publication platform. The site exists to: present biographical and career information about the site owner; document projects, research, publications, and media coverage; publish technical articles; and provide a single canonical source of truth that connects to external profiles (LinkedIn, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID, GitHub, social platforms, and Wikidata).

Intellectual Property

All original content on this site — including but not limited to text in the long-form bio, project descriptions, article posts, and any code samples — is the copyright of Firmansyah Helmi Kurniawan unless otherwise attributed. You may quote brief excerpts (under 300 words) with attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not reproduce full articles, republish the site content wholesale, or use it for commercial training datasets without prior written permission. Third-party trademarks (LinkedIn, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID, GitHub, MAGNET, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners and appear on this site under fair-use identification only.

User Conduct

You agree not to: attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting (denial-of-service, scraping at volume that burdens infrastructure, attempting to bypass rate limits); use the site or its content for illegal purposes; impersonate the site owner or any third party; submit malicious input through contact channels (the site has no public forms, but the same standard applies to email inquiries). Automated scraping of the public pages for personal indexing is acceptable; commercial republicration of scraped content is not.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The site is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. The site owner does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. Technical articles and research summaries reflect the author's understanding at the time of writing; they may contain errors or become outdated as the field evolves. Any code samples are provided for educational reference and should be reviewed before use in production systems.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or damages resulting from reliance on site content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use the site (which, since the site is free, is zero).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the site owner from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site in violation of these terms or applicable law.

Changes to the Site

The site owner may add, modify, or remove pages, content, or features at any time without notice. URLs and content may be reorganized; the site owner will make reasonable efforts to maintain working redirects when permalinks change. RSS subscribers are encouraged to use article canonical URLs rather than rely on-site navigation.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be resolved first through good-faith informal contact; if that fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Jakarta, Indonesia.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the site owner regarding your use of fireman.dev.
